Operations Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Beverly, MA
Employment: Full-Time
Compensation: Salary plus bonus
Description
This role is a primary resource to the Fleet Operations team in developing data-drive decisions that will optimize operations and reduce operating costs. The Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and reporting on all operational data related to current projects and providing continuous feedback regarding Highland’s existing operations.
Responsibilities
Own overall operations data for all active customers across the company
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for operations data related to buses, chargers, and energy, along with the necessary processes required to collect and refine operations data
Lead the analysis of operations data to evaluate operational performance, monitor trends, perform root cause analysis, identify areas of improvement, and provide feedback to management teams
Establish KPIs using internal and external data to help drive business decisions
Build reporting, analytics tools, visualizations, and dashboards in line with Fleet Operations need
Utilize data to provide recommendations and strategies that maximize operational availability and reduce costs
Develop and manage ongoing asset management and maintenance processes and analyses (including inspections, registrations, maintenance cost reviews, etc.)
Monitor and optimize utility consumption and energy costs for all existing customers
Support the Customer Success team in contract compliance reviews by creating reporting and tracking systems key contract metrics
Provide feedback to Origination and Pricing teams based on trends in operational performance
Support Fleet Operations team with budget and forecasting exercises
Skills
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field focused on analysis and planning
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced proficiency with analytical software and data visualization platforms
Experience in working with datasets, spreadsheets, and analytical models
Data driven approach to problem solving
Confident, high energy, self-motivated and a team player
Ability to operate in a fast paced, innovative, dynamic team
Ability to collaborate across departments within the company and external third parties using strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with asset management software or fleet maintenance software is a plus
